Launch of Comprehensive Electronic Services for Ration Cards to Process Transactions Remotely

The Ministry of Trade announced the launch of all ration card services via its official electronic application, following a suspension that lasted over three years, in a step aimed at enabling citizens to complete their transactions smoothly without the need for in-person visits. The launch covered all provinces, including the Kurdistan Region. Technical teams successfully resolved temporary challenges that accompanied the activation of the transfer service. The ministry also formed a specialized committee to track and refund erroneously deducted amounts caused by heavy pressure on electronic payment gateways, affirming its full commitment to safeguarding citizens' rights and developing its digital services.
